RSLC Statement: South Carolina Republicans Soar to a Supermajority in the State House

WASHINGTON, D.C. — South Carolinians gave Republicans a supermajority in the state House last night in a resounding vote of support for conservative leadership in Columbia.

South Carolina has seen tremendous economic growth in recent years and voters recognized that Republicans in Columbia and their policies deserve a lot of credit,” said RSLC President Dee Duncan. “In partnership with Governor McMaster and Lieutenant Governor Evette, legislative Republicans fought to keep small businesses open, kids in the classroom, and protected freedom across the Palmetto State. We couldn’t be prouder of the job Republicans have done in Columbia and know they will continue to be a shining example for the rest of the country.”
