RSLC Releases New Video Recapping Historic 2021 Victories and Committee’s Commitment to ‘Finish the Fight’ in 2022

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) today released “Finish the Fight,” a new video recapping the historic successes it had earlier this month and highlighting the need for state Republicans to work even harder to combat the national liberal money machine in 2022. The committee is ready to carry its momentum into the coming year by defending its razor-thin majorities across the country and looking for opportunities to go on offense. Just like in 2021, the RSLC next year will focus on the kitchen table issues like lowering cost of living, empowering parents, and protecting communities, as well as continue its highly successful Right Leaders Network initiative to recruit, train, and support diverse candidates who best represent their districts.

Democrats lost big earlier this month because they were focused on pandering to their base by mimicking Washington’s failed policies. On the other hand, state Republicans across the country ran on providing commonsense solutions to the issues impacting the daily lives of the American people.” said RSLC President Dee Duncan. “While we have the right candidates, the right message, and the right strategy to have more success in 2022, we know full well that this month’s victories will only further embolden Democrats to spend more money on state races than ever before and that we cannot bank on the political environment alone to lead us to victory.”

The RSLC in 2021 led the effort to flip the House of Delegates and the lieutenant governor’s office in Virginia, net six seats in the New Jersey Assembly and one seat in the New Jersey Senate, flip a Texas House seat that Joe Biden won by 14 points in 2020, and retain a seat on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. National liberals did not even wait a week after their crushing defeats to announce that they will be spending an additional $31 million in state races in 2022.
