RSLC Launches Six-Figure Ad Buy Opposing Radical Liberal Secretary of State Candidate Bee Nguyen

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) is launching a new ad today emphasizing how Democrat secretary of state candidate Bee Nguyen’s anti-law enforcement record makes her too radical for Georgia. The 15-second spot will be backed by a $125,000 digital buy and exposes how Nguyen has called police “murderers,” voted against legislation to support law enforcement, and is endorsed by groups that want to defund the police.

This is the first independent expenditure the RSLC is making in a secretary of state race in 2022 and demonstrates the committee’s commitment to protecting its incumbents who are working to make it easier to vote and harder to cheat in their states and pushing back against the Democrats' federal takeover of our elections system. The RSLC stated in May that re-electing Ngyuyen’s opponent, Brad Raffensperger, is the top priority for its efforts in secretary of state races this cycle.

“Bee Nguyen’s anti-law enforcement record  makes clear that she is too radical to be Georgia’s secretary of state and that she stands with national liberals instead of the people of Georgia,” said RSLC President Dee Duncan. “The RSLC”s top priority in secretary of state races this year continues to be re-electing Brad Raffensperger, as he prioritizes making it easier to vote but harder to cheat in Georgia and pushes back on the Democrats’ attempt to dismantle democracy by instituting a federal takeover of our elections.”

NARRATOR: Why is Bee Nguyen supported by groups that want to defund our police? Nguyen voted against a bill to protect law enforcement and tweeted “police are responsible rampant misconduct, and murder”. Think Bee Nguyen shares your values? Think again.
