RSLC PAC and RAGA Team With Governor Youngkin’s ‘Secure Your Vote’ Efforts to Launch Seven-Figure GOTV Investment Ahead of Virginia Elections
Joint Effort Will Fund Targeted Campaign to Mobilize Voters Statewide
Washington, D.C. – The Republican State Leadership Committee PAC (RSLC PAC) and the Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) today announced a joint seven-figure investment in coordination with Governor Glenn Youngkins ‘Secure Your Vote’ Initiative in a comprehensive Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) effort ahead of Virginia’s 2025 elections. This strategic initiative will include direct mail, digital outreach, and grassroots methods to advocate for the re-election of Attorney General Jason Miyares and secure key victories in Virginia House of Delegates races.
The GOTV campaign will utilize cutting-edge data to target and motivate key voter segments to get to the polls. The joint effort is part of a broader strategy to bolster down-ballot Republicans in pivotal elections that will shape Virginia’s future and comes off the heels of the launch of the GOP victory program to bolster top-of-ticket Republicans in the Commonwealth with a focus on building grassroots support ahead of this November’s elections.
This GOTV effort builds on the RSLC PAC’s successful 2023 absentee ballot and early voting (AB/EV) program, which in partnership with Governor Youngkin’s Spirit of Virginia PAC targeted low-propensity, lean-Republican, and swing voters. The program drove a 26% increase in absentee ballot requests and a 32% increase in returns compared to 2021, helping push Republican candidates over the top in several razor-thin races.
“Every vote counts, and we need everyone who wants to see Virginia thrive to stay engaged and get involved,” said Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin. ”We simply can’t afford to fall behind before Election Day — that’s why I’m excited to have such committed partners joining us in this critical effort. For the entire GOP ticket, Secure Your Vote Virginia is the key to winning — not just in 2025, but for the long haul.”
"Republicans across Virginia are focused on delivering impactful results, while Democrats in Richmond cling to the status quo, blocking essential initiatives like tax relief and stricter criminal penalties," said RSLC PAC President Edith Jorge-Tuñón. "The RSLC PAC, in partnership with RAGA and Governor Younkin’s Spirit of Virginia PAC is committed to investing resources to counter the progressive left and ensure effective Republican leadership in Richmond."
“Virginia is safer, stronger, and more prosperous because of Attorney General Jason Miyares,” said RAGA Executive Director Adam Piper. “Jason Miyares is a proven prosecutor and has kept his promises of making Virginia safe again. He’s protected kids from predators, seniors from scams, and communities from violent crime. The Virginia AG race is all about public safety and that’s why the soft on crime Democrat opponent won’t debate Jason Miyares and answer questions about his efforts to end cash bail and remove school resource officers from keeping our kids safe. This is a team effort to keep Virginia safe and it’s why RAGA is partnering with the RSLC and Spirit of Virginia to directly reach voters and ensure that all Virginians know what is at stake in 2025.”
