RSLC PAC, Virginia Senate Republican Caucus, Spirit of Virginia PAC, Launch 7-Figure Ad Blitz to Retake Control of the Virginia Senate

Washington, D.C. – The RSLC PAC, in strategic partnership with the Virginia Senate Republican Caucus and Governor Glenn Youngkin’s ‘Spirit of Virginia PAC,’ launched a 7-figure ad blitz across multiple platforms as part of our effort to retake control of the Virginia state Senate. The latest round of ads has been launched across target districts where Republicans can overturn Democrat control in the Senate and hand Governor Youngkin trifecta control of the Commonwealth. This comes on the heels of RSLC PAC announcing an aggressive absentee ballot and early voting program (AB/EV), as well as Governor Youngkin’s SecureYourVoteVirginia.com website to serve as a one stop shop for Virginia voters to make their plan to vote early or absentee.

“We’ve already delivered on our promise to invest earlier than ever in Virginia to make sure that we have quality candidates in key battleground districts, and now we’re pressing forward in the general election by helping Virginia Senate Republican nominees get across the finish line in November,” said RSLC PAC President Dee Duncan. “This will no doubt be an uphill climb, which is why we’re working closely Governor Youngkin’s Spirit of Virginia PAC and Senate Republican leadership to strip away at the Democrat majority.”

These new ads will run on television, OTT, CTV, and digital platforms across targeted Senate districts and will air through Labor Day upon completion of our most recent “Summer Series” campaign in Virginia. Overall, this commitment to spend over one million dollars will be part of a broader plan that includes direct mail, text messages, digital ads, and TV ads targeting likely voters in Virginia.

TRANSCRIPT

NARRATOR: “Remember Senator Monty Mason?”

Senator Monty Mason: “It’s all a part of this parental crap that they’re selling.”

NARRATOR: “Well he must think that public safety is “crap,” to. Violent crime is on the rise but Monty Mason doesn’t seem to care. Mason voted to release thousands of convicted criminals early, he and Virginia Democrats would rather go soft-on-crime that’s a crap deal for Virginia and we don’t want it. Send Monty Mason a message, vote yes on safety, vote no on Mason this November.”

ADDITIONAL BACKGROUND

In July, the RSLC PAC rolled out new ads as part of their “Summer Series” campaign, highlighting the failures of Virginia Democrat nominees. The Summer Series campaign also follows the RSLC PAC’s Virginia memo which outlines AB/EV efforts across the Commonwealth. As part of those AB/EV efforts, Governor Youngkin’s Spirit of Virginia PAC launched SecureYourVoteVirginia.com to ensure Virginians can make a plan to vote early or absentee.
