New RSLC Ad Highlights Efforts of State Republicans to Hold the Line Against DC’s ‘Grinches’

The five-figure digital spot will run in Arizona, Colorado, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico, and Pennsylvania

Washington, D.C.-- The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) today released a digital ad titled “Grinches,” reminding voters that state Republicans are the only line of defense against the D.C. Democrats that are harming the wallets of hardworking taxpayers across the country.  The thirty-second spot features national Democrats Joe Biden, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Bernie Sanders, and Nancy Pelosi, and notes that they are America's ‘Grinches’ this holiday season, as their radical liberal policies have produced record inflation, higher gas prices, and crippled the COVID-19 recovery effort. 

“National liberals are playing the role of the Grinch this holiday season with their tax-and-spend agenda that is driving up the cost of everything from gas to groceries, causing devastating labor shortages, and stifling our recovery effort,” said RSLC President Dee Duncan. “Voters in Virginia and New Jersey last month recognized that state Republicans are the only ones who can hold the line against DC Democrats' failed policies. We are confident Americans across the country will continue voting with their wallets in 2022 as we look to beat back an onslaught of liberal spending in state legislative races.” 

The ad will be backed by a five-figure buy and will run in states that the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee (DLCC) has already pledged to target in the upcoming 2022 election, including Arizona, Colorado, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico, and Pennsylvania. This is the first paid media effort the RSLC has launched since the committee’s historic victories in November’s elections when Virginia Republicans flipped seven seats to take back control of the House of Delegates and when New Jersey Republicans had their best legislative election in 30 years, netting seven seats.
